High Reminder System – Junior Engineering Project

The High Reminder System is modeled after the high striker circus game. Our system seeks to provide an alternative soundless alarm system for students, office workers, the hearing impaired, or anyone else who spends a large portion of their day in one spot. This means that noticeability and user-friendliness are high-priority goals. The first goal will be accomplished through a combination of movement and light. The second will be done through a simple app that will allow users to set their reminders.

We didn’t start with the idea of a reminding system fashioned after the high striker game. Originally we were designing a toy helicopter that would fly when the alarm was to go off.

Then we realized that it wouldn’t be feasible to complete in less than ten weeks. While also balancing other classes.
