Mechanical Subteam
I am a 4th year student at Seattle Pacific University pursuing an ABET certified double major in mechanical engineering and general engineering. My passion for mechanical systems started when I was young with various cars and machines. I built a V8 racing engine when I was 17 for my high school project and decided mechanical engineering was my path. After working in the construction industry for 6 years while in school I have learned many skills that I look forward to utilizing with my degree after college.
As an aspiring Mechanical Engineer, I have always been fascinated with the how and why’s of the world, but the most enjoyable part of being an engineer has always been the team building and collaboration that brings a project together. This will be my 4th year of education in my pursuit of a Mechanical Engineering major. Growing up I moved around a lot, but eventually set roots in Seattle, where my passion for aeronautics and mechanical design took form.
Jack of all trades, and aspiring Renaissance man. I am a fourth-year student pursuing an ABET certified double major in Mechanical Engineering and General Engineering, with a minor in Computer Science. Growing up in Anchorage, AK I found my love of engineering by building workshop kits from Home Depot with my Dad. It is from this experience that I was able to pursue and achieve the SolidWorks Mechanical Design Associate Certification.
A lover of learning and a passionate reader, I am pursuing a major in the ABET certified field of both General and Mechanical Engineering, while seeking a minor in Electrical as well. Engineering channels and realizes my best traits and focus, as an ever-evolving field condenses and refines my joy and talent in knowing more about the world. My passions are not limited to the fields of STEM though, reaching into artwork and philosophy and more alongside, giving me insight and viewpoints that diverge from my more logic-driven peers that has proven valuable in the projects I’ve worked in.
