Kellie Cobb (EE), Jordan Barde (ME), Andrew Josselyn (ME), Colt Hawley (ME), Janine Santos (CS), and Shawn Wilcox (CS)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Kellie is a senior Electrical Engineer at Seattle Pacific University. She is the lead EE on FIRM IV and is responsible for the controls, power, and live video subsystems of the project. She is passionate about the intersection between the natural environment and technology and making the world a better place for generations to come. When not designing electronics for trash-eating water robots, she loves exploring the PNW through hiking, running, and biking.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Colt is a senior Mechanical Engineer at Seattle Pacific University. In FIRM IV, he is one of three ME students working on the buoyancy, motion, and trash intake components of the project. Colt is also majoring in Appropriate & Sustainable Engineering, a degree specific to SPU. This degree and its coursework have interested Colt in renewable energy generation technology and a desire to understand the impacts engineering can have on our environment. Colt enjoys playing the guitar, adventuring in the PNW, and playing board games with friends and family.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Andrew is a senior Mechanical Engineer at Seattle Pacific University. In FIRM IV, he is one of three ME students working on the buoyancy, motion, and trash intake components of the project. Andrew is also majoring in Appropriate & Sustainable Engineering and Honors Liberal. He is passionate about the intersection between social justice, climate change, medical accessibility, and sustainability. His hobbies include hiking, climbing, camping, and other adventurous outdoor activities. Andrew seeks to use his background and education to support others and leave a positive impact.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Jordan is a senior Mechanical Engineer at Seattle Pacific University. In FIRM IV, he is one of three ME students working on the buoyancy, motion, and trash intake components of the project. Due to his hobbies of hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities he hopes to use his degree to address issues of environmental degradation and be a steward for a green future. His main interests are in alternative energy systems, sustainability, and pollution reduction. Outside of working on aquatic trash robots, he enjoys playing guitar, exploring the PNW and beyond, and spending quality time with family and friends.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Shawn is a senior CS student who joined ARTEMIS in Winter Quarter. Shawn’s role on FIRM IV is developing the website to be used in tandem with the aquatic drone.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
