As a visual artist, my scholarship involves the creation of large-scale sculptures, public artworks and installations (temporary, site-specific sculpture). My work explores the relationship between humans and their environment at the intersection of sculpture and architecture. I research each location where I work, collecting materials that are integrated with the site and content of each artwork and constructing forms that invite viewers to enter physical, contemplative spaces.
