Meet The DVCKs!
We are an interdisciplinary group of senior engineering students from Seattle Pacific University passionate about engineering and education. We’ve spent all year working on our ABVE, so we are very excited to share it with you!
I am a physics and mechanical engineering double major at Seattle Pacific University. I am passionate about not just learning new knowledge and engineering skills myself, but scientific outreach, communication and education. I benefited greatly from participating in programs like FIRST robotics, and so I am thrilled to develop the ABVE with team DVCK create more opportunities for students to get excited about physics and engineering. Learn more about me and my work here.
Carrie Cox, Mechanical Engineer
I’m a mechanical engineering major and student-athlete at Seattle Pacific University. My journey in competitive soccer—from the start to collegiate arenas—has honed my leadership, teamwork, and organizational abilities. And being on team DVCK has in addition furthered my skills in engineering and design processes.
Donovahn Allen, Mechanical Engineer
I am an electrical engineering major at Seattle Pacific University. Electrical work was a mystery to me since my dad, who taught me many practical skills, was himself unfamiliar with circuit design. Because of my itch to explore and excel in new situations, I then became an electrical engineer. Being part of team DVCK has furthered my ability to problem-solve and adapt.
Viktor Vu, Electrical Engineer
I am an electrical engineering major at Seattle Pacific University. I have always been captivated by the intricacies of electronics. My lifelong passion for creativity and problem solving has fueled my desire for engineering. Being a part of team DVCK has helped me feed my aspirations and grow my engineering skills.
