How It Works

Users will wear an unobtrusive elastic athletic sleeve to detect, condition and amplify Electromyography (EMG) signals and then transmit the conditioned signal via Bluetooth to a Real-Time Communications (RTC) Box for analysis and review.

Conductive fabric sewn into the athletic sleeve will transmit micro voltage signals generated by muscle activity to a Signal Conditioning Unit (SCU) housed inside of an enclosure. This enclosure also houses a battery for portable power and a microcontroller for data processing and transmission to the RTC Box.

The RTC Box allows the users to view their generated muscle force on a graphical display in real time, if desired. It is also battery powered and, in addition to real-time analysis, users can view data at any time that is automatically saved to a microSD card.
