The Green Home is a semi-automatic greenhouse that will help promote the building of a community in the area it is employed. The Green Home uses a hydroponic plant growth system to reduce water consumption compared to traditional soil-based horticulture. To be semi-automatic, the Green Home will utilize PH, humidity, and temperature sensors to monitor and adjust the plants’ growing conditions through automatically cycling the water on a set schedule and turning on a fan to adjust the humidity and temperature.
