The charging station consists of a door that opens using a remotely activated motor system as well as a payload attachment system.
The payload will be attached to the drone via magnets and removed using stronger magnets.
Mechanical Designs
The charging station is a 3x3x3 ft. box with a top compartment for the drone to land and a bottom compartment for electrical components and batteries.
The thermal camera will be mounted using a 3d print, designed by our mechanical engineers.
