Meet the Team:

Kinnon McPeak:

I am a motivated Mechanical Engineering student with a demonstrated history with design and testing aspects of product design. I have a passion for using my hands and putting things together and taking them apart. I love to work with 3D printers, engines, and dabbling in robotics. I am professionally skilled at SOLIDWORKS (CSWA) and have used it to design structural members, gearboxes, and engine mounts. I have just finished an internship with Benz Air Engineering as an Engineering Associate Intern, working with boilers, and running longevity testing on a power generation boiler accessory. I have just accepted an offer of employment for a project engineering position at Janicki Industries working on precision manufacturing of composites.

Sean Barbour

I am currently a Senior studying Mechanical Engineering at Seattle Pacific University. I have developed a driving curiosity about how things work and have gained technical skills designing and manufacturing parts for an off-road racing club I am currently a part of called Baja SAE. I am also interested in appropriate and sustainable engineering and finding ways to implement different forms of renewable energy across various applications.

Colin Brenchley

As a Senior Computer Engineering student at Seattle Pacific University, I’ve had the ability to work with Professors and Instructors who put learning first. Because of that, I’ve worked extensively with both electronics and software development, often given the opportunity to merge the two together. This provided me with a unique perspective on how to implement things from the software side to the hardware side and vice versa. I am hoping I can continue this trend after graduation and am currently looking/applying for a job.

Mohammed Ali

I am a senior Electrical Engineering major and I enjoy working on projects with groups. My favorite part of my EE journey so far is building amplifiers and working with renewable energy. Being part of SPU’s IEEE Club and Baja, my long-term goal is to expand my knowledge in the world of engineering and continue experimenting with new ideas and unique projects. In my free time I like to drink hot chocolate and race karts.

Alden Massey

As a senior studying Mechanical Engineering at Seattle Pacific University, my passion for engineering to help people and society has grown with every year of my studies. I was first exposed to engineering in high school when I first used SOLIDWORKS, and since then I have found the field captivating ever since. I finished an internship at Onamac Industries this summer where I worked with manufacturing engineers, working directly with mill and lathe operators to improve the engineer to manufacturer relationship.
