When do I use Zoom and when do I use Panopto?  

Use Zoom to 

• Hold and record meetings with more than one person

Remember that if you choose to save your Zoom recordings to the cloud, they will be automatically sent to Panopto.

Use Panopto to

• Record yourself and/or your screen
• Edit your recordings
• Store and manage your recordings (both the ones you create in Panopto and ones from other places, such as Zoom)
