Remote Item Manipulator

Humans are often tasked with incredibly dangerous undertakings such as collecting hazardous chemical samples. The Remote Item Manipulator (RIM) seeks to remove humans from the dangerous area while still allowing them to complete the task of transporting chemicals. Most robotic arms today perform their tasks through pre-determined movements, but the RIM focuses on keeping the user as an integral part of the control process.
