Board of Trustees Responds to Student Sit-In Demands

On the student sit-in deadline of July 1, 2022, Board Chair Dean Kato responds to the demands of the students’ sit-in, and the students post the letter on Instagram. Chair Kato reiterates that “we believe these longstanding employee expectations are consistent with the University’s mission and Statement of Faith that reflect a traditional view on biblical marriage and sexuality, as an expression of long-held orthodox church teaching.”
